Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect the information you share with us. Effective June 25, 2026.
Overview
PayMed Billing Services ("PayMed", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this site or submitting our contact form, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We only collect the information you choose to provide and a limited amount of technical data needed to operate the site securely.
- Information you submit through our contact form — your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, practice or organization name, specialty, current billing setup, and the message you send us.
- Basic technical data your browser sends automatically, such as IP address and general request information, used to keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and provide a quote or billing audit you request.
- To communicate with you about our services and follow up on your request.
- To operate, secure, and improve our website.
- To meet legal, regulatory, and record-keeping obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate the site and respond to you — for example, our email delivery provider — and only to the extent needed to perform that service. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.
SMS and phone communications
If you provide your phone number and opt in, we may send you text messages (SMS) related to your inquiry or services — such as appointment, account, or follow-up updates. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies.
We do not sell or share your phone number with any third party for their marketing purposes under any circumstances. You can opt out of marketing texts at any time by replying STOP, and reply HELP for assistance. Even after opting out of general communications, we may still send essential transactional messages related to an active engagement.
Protected health information (PHI)
This website's contact form is for general business inquiries. Please do not submit patient records or other protected health information through it. For clients who engage our services, any protected health information we handle on your behalf is governed by a separate Business Associate Agreement (BAA) and processed in line with HIPAA — not by this website privacy policy.
Cookies and analytics
We use only the cookies essential to operate the site. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. If we add privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used, we will update this policy accordingly.
Data retention
We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for our legitimate business and legal record-keeping purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have submitted, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing support@paymedmbs.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children's privacy
This website is intended for healthcare providers and businesses. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
